Rob Schroeder developed his passion for photography while attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
After graduation, he found work in Chicago, IL as a photo assistant for all types of photographers. He learned his craft from notable photographers at Hedrich Blessing, one of the oldest architectural photography firms in the world, as well as Sandro, an award-winning portrait photographer, among others.
Rob’s commercial success came as the staff photographer for eLUXURY, one of the first online retailers of luxury goods. After his tenure there, he parlayed his extensive knowledge of product photography, architecture, and portraiture into a successful freelance career.
Rob is currently living in Orinda, California and works throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. He is a devoted dad of two and when not shooting he can be found doing whatever his girlfriend tells him to do (because he loves her).
